Potos, Thassos, is a remarkable resort on the south of the island, very close to Limenaria. Potos is a beautiful seaside village, about 45 kilometers away from Limenas, the capital of Thassos.

Potos, Thassos, used to be the Skala, or port, of Thelologos, the seaside part of the village. Theologos is an especially picturesque mountainous village of Thassos, with a very traditional character, located at an overgrown location with running waters. The area of Potos in the past used to be the glebe of monks from Mount Athos and during the Ottoman Empire it used to be a Turkish settlement.
